Bodhisatva Avalokiteshwara the "Patronsaint" of Tibet is also known as the Lokeshwar. All Dalai Lama are believed to be manifestations of this deity. Lokeshwar is seated cross-legged on a beautifully decorated lotus pedesta. He is in dharamchakra mudra or teaching gesture.the artist has placed the whole in beautiful colorful background which adds profundity to the message of the sculpture.
